Blessed are the Meek

Meekness isn't weakness—it's strength under control, like a powerful horse that's been trained. Jesus exemplified this perfectly: all-powerful yet gentle, the Lion who came as a Lamb. True meekness flows from trusting God to fight our battles rather than fighting them ourselves. It means choosing gentleness when we could lash out, walking away from arguments for the sake of peace, and surrendering our need to defend ourselves. The meek experience deep satisfaction, inherit God's promises, and enjoy abundant peace while waiting for God to exalt them at the right time.
