A MINISTRY FOR KIDS AGES 1 - 5TH GRADE

We are passionate about creating a fun, safe, and caring environment where kids can learn about God’s love, discover His plan for their lives, and take steps to deepen their faith. We love seeing how God moves in the hearts of our kids as we grow together!

Available during the 10:15 service on Sundays.

CHECK-IN

Check in stations are located in the foyer. Once you are registered, you will be able to check in every week prior to the Sunday Service! Keep your phone nearby in case you are needed.  Please pick up your children after the service.

KIDS CHURCH FAQ's

It's our first time! What do I do?
Welcome! We are so glad you are here!  First, you will need to register your family HERE. Once you are registered, you will be able to check-in at any of our kiosks every week before service begins. The kiosks are located in our foyer next to the Kids Church hallway. When you check-in your kids, it will automatically print out a name tag for each child to wear that day!  Children will join their parents for opening worship, and then are dismissed for a time of learning and fun with trusted teachers and assistants.
When is Kids Church?
Kids Church is held during the 10:15 Sunday Service.
Children join their families for opening worship, and then are dismissed to the classrooms for learning + fun with trusted adults!
What will my child learn?
We currently use Grow Kids Curriculum for kids ages K-5 to help your child will discover biblical truths in exciting and meaningful ways! Through fun activities, engaging discussions, and Scripture reading, we bring Bible stories to life, inspiring every child to develop a love for God’s Word and learn how to apply it in their daily lives. Our heart is to deepen each child’s personal relationship with Jesus and help them embrace the truth that sets them free!
What safety measures are in place?
BACKGROUND CHECKS | All of our adult volunteers have completed background checks + are instructed on how to provide and maintain a safe environment.

HALLWAY SECURITY | Trained security personnel monitor the classrooms + hallways while Kids Church is in session.

TWO-WAY WINDOWS | Each kids' room has a large 2-way window into the hallway, so parents are able to see into the classroom at any time.

2-ADULT POLICY | We keep at minimum 2 adults in each room at all times.

CHECK-IN SYSTEM | The Check-In system prints name badges for each child that include a security code, medical conditions, food allergies, and parent contact information. We can use this system to text parents during service if needed.

RACHEL TEBBE

KIDS CHURCH DIRECTOR

Rachel has served as Kids Director at Christ Chapel since July 2025. She is dedicated to creating a fun, Christ-centered, and student-focused environment where children can joyfully learn about God. Her mission is to instill a deep passion for Christ at a young age and to teach children that God is always by their side through every moment of life. Whether welcoming families at the Kids Church desk or leading activities, Rachel’s heart is to guide the church’s youngest members toward a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Rachel and her husband began attending Christ Chapel in October and quickly fell in love with the community and the abundant love of Jesus they have experienced here. She is a teacher at Parkway Elementary School and lives in Coldwater with her two dogs, Milo and Molly, and her cat, Missy. She loves theatre, traveling, reading, and writing.
