SERVE

The Winter Team is responsible for ensuring safe and accessible walkways by keeping sidewalks clear of ice and snow throughout the winter season. Each team member will be assigned to a specific month of service, with assignments rotating annually. The team leader for each month will coordinate communication and responsibilities, ensuring that all tasks are covered efficiently. Leadership roles will also rotate each year, allowing different members to step into leadership and serve in new ways. If you’re looking for a practical and impactful way to serve, we’d love to have you on the team!

Kids Church Volunteers typically serve once every 4 weeks. Your responsibility varies based on which room you are serving in, and what position you are serving in (Teacher vs. Assistant). Teachers are required to prepare a lesson using our curriculum, Grow Kids.  Assistants will be there in the classroom to help carry out the lesson plan prepared by the teacher, and help with classroom management.  Those serving in the Green Room will be responsible for maintaining a safe and caring environment for the kids ages 1- Preschool.  

The AVL Team (Audio, Video, and Lighting) is responsible for operating sound, visuals, and lighting during services and events to ensure seamless production. Whether managing audio levels, running slides and lyrics, operating livestream cameras, or controlling stage lighting, the AVL Team enhances worship and communication, helping to create an environment where people can connect with God. No prior experience is necessary—training is provided! If you have a passion for technology, creativity, and serving behind the scenes, we’d love for you to join the team!

The Welcome Team plays a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. With a friendly smile, they greet attendees at the Welcome Desk, assist with answering questions, and ensure that first-time guests feel at home. They also help distribute bulletins as people enter the service, making sure everyone has the information they need to stay connected.

The Hospitality Team at our church plays a key role in supporting events and funerals by preparing and providing food. They also assist with setting up tables and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all gatherings, ensuring that every occasion runs smoothly and with care.

Responsibilities include general maintenance, repairs, assembly, installation, and overall upkeep of the building and property when necessary. This may involve minor fixes, routine maintenance tasks, electrical work, and ensuring the church remains in excellent condition. If you have a heart for serving behind the scenes and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact.
