Blessed Are The Peacemakers

Peace is not merely the absence of conflict but a state of wholeness and harmony that reflects God's character. Jesus calls us to be peacemakers, not just peace-wishers, because peace requires active cultivation like a garden. Left untended, relationships naturally grow weeds of misunderstanding and resentment. As we make peace, we reflect our heavenly Father who crossed battle lines to reconcile with us while we were still His enemies. True peacemaking begins with receiving God's peace and then intentionally extending it to others, even those we find difficult.
